A Millennial and A Baby Boomer Traveling Together
We have quite a lot of experience with travel. Recently we spent an entire year traveling Asia while working as English teachers and doing volunteer work. We did the same in Mexico.
Sometimes we rented our own apartment and sometimes we lived with a local family.
With the money we saved, we spent another year exploring the rest of the world.
After taking a break during the lockdown, we off to see the world again!.
Millennial Arin
International Traveler
Whew! I just graduated college earning my Bachelor Degree in Philosophy. Now I’m taking a year to travel full time (again) with Amy who also happens to be my mom. I’ll be working on my graduate school admissions this year as we travel the globe! More than anything I would love to get a job working internationally, so I’ll keep my ears open for opportunities!
Baby Boomer Amy
Interntional Traveler
After graduating college, my sister and I traveled Europe for the summer. This was in 1986 when I was one of only 4 million Americans holding a passport. I raised three boys and now that my oldest son has graduated college, he’s joining me in full time travel (again). Come along with us and we’ll teach you the intricacies of travel from a baby boomer AND a millennial point of view.
O.K., I buy my airline ticket and then what do I do?
This is the answer we received when we asked our friend why he didn’t travel even though he wants to.
Hearing his answer made us realize that not everybody grows up flying on airplanes and riding trains.
Our friend simply has no experience traveling as a youth.
ARE YOU A SEASONED TRAVELER?
You can be an inspiration to all our tentative travelers!
DO YOU WANT TO TRAVEL BUT DON’T?
For many, fear of the unknown, or just the fact that they have no experience traveling, is stifling travel dreams.
We hope to RELIEVE your TRAVEL TREPEDATIONS by providing intricate details of what to expect during international travel so you can start to picture yourself waiting in THAT line for the Eiffel Tower, or sitting in THAT chair at that café in Istanbul or THAT hotel lobby in THAT exotic country.
Our goal is to instill in you the confidence to explore our world EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO TRAVEL SOLO.
Note: We won’t be covering Visa Restrictions as those requirements change rapidly. We suggest you check official government websites before embarking on a journey to a new country.
